Silvia Pérez-Navarro is Special Counsel - Project Director and lawyer at Samaniego Law. Silvia has extensive experience in talent management in the legal sector, the transformation of the legal function within the company and in projects related to people management. She combines project management at Samaniego Law with her work as a professional coach at the Sparkling People Services firm that she founded in 2020.

Career

Before collaborating with Samaniego Law, she was Managing Partner of Iterlegis Legal Staffing Solutions, a head-hunting firm for lawyers, tax advisers and compliance professionals, for permanent positions and temporary projects that Silvia launched in Spain (2008-2020).

Silvia has fifteen years of professional practice as a lawyer. She began her career with an internship at the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg. Afterward she worked for five years in the Competition and EU Law department of Clifford Chance in Brussels and Madrid (1994-1998). Later, after working as an external advisor for EGEDA (Entity for the Management of the Rights of Audiovisual Producers), she joined Linklaters in Madrid to start and direct the Department of Competition and EU Law during the period 2000-2007.

Silvia is a member of the Madrid Bar Association. She has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (Centro Universitario San Pablo CEU, 1990) and holds a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) magna cum laude in International and EU Law from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium, 1993).

Silvia is a Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), trained under the ACTP by ICF and holds a specialization diploma by the European Coaching School (EEC).

She has extensive teaching experience at the Carlos III University, Comillas University-ICADE, Francisco de Vitoria University, ESADE, Villanueva Center of Law Studies and IE Business School. Silvia is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences on the topics of legal profession and is the author of several publications on this subject and on Competition Law, regulated sectors and European Union Law in economic press and specialized legal journals. She is a member of the association of women in the legal sector (Women in a Legal World) and a member of the FIDE Foundation. Silvia speaks and works in Spanish, English and French.
